Visit a Place of Worship 2014-15
Throughout 2014-15 schools will be taking pupils to visit a places of worship. RE Matters seeks to encourage RE learning outside the classroom.
Buying this element ensures that your RE co-ordinator will receive:
· support in planning and organising this months trips in your school;
· receive a database of over 80 local and London places of worship who are happy to receive visits from Newham schools; and
· entry into the Place of Worship competition.
- The database will give clear addresses, contact name, e-mail and phone details for Places of worship. It will also shows which places of worship have attended faith leaders training on leading a school visit. Schools will receive this from November 2014.
